Learn to use theatre exercises, games, and performance to enhance learning for all ages. This training will introduce participants to techniques developed by Viola Spolin, August Boal, Dorothy Heathcote, Michael Rohd, and other applied theatre specialists. Participants will learn how to... Increase learners' creativity and imagination Engage people in active learning Enhance teamwork Encourage leadership skills Bring literature to life Inspire dialogue about issues like bullying and peer pressure No theatre or acting skills are necessary to participate in this Theatre in Education (TiE) training. Ideal for teachers of all grade levels, youth workers, counselors, home school educators, and community workers.
