InterPlay's "train the trainer" diversity
workshops are ideal for large corporations, schools, and community centers
and organizations that want to provide a continuous
training program. We teach you to train employees or students by using our
theatre techniques and exercises. All of our techniques and activities have
been successfully tested with positive results.
The exercises can be learned by teenagers, college students and adults to encourage creativity and innovation through the training process. Participants of the "train the trainer" workshops will learn dialogue exercises and theatre games, as well as how to lead larger groups easily and effectively. They will also learn to guide others into meaningful conversations that deal with diversity challenges and issues. In addition, trainer participants will be taught how to create scenes based on diversity issue topics. This also includes developing the scenes through the rehearsal process, performing the scenes and encouraging dialogue with spectators. During the initial training with us, you will work on, develop and rehearse several scenes to take with you. Our diversity trainer program can vary in intensity, depending on the number of workshop participants, how much you want to learn and how long you wish to train with us. Basic training sessions can range anywhere from 15 to 30 hours. You can break your training sessions up into three-day periods or spread them out over a few weeks.
