InterPlay's diversity training workshops are remarkably unique for several
reasons. We tailor each workshop to suit the individual needs and unique qualities
of your company. Our training programs are not based on guest lectures, training
videos or repetitive generalizations about what diversity means. Instead, we
develop participatory workshops that actively engage your employees.
The purpose of these workshops is to encourage interaction between your employees in order to stimulate dialogue and increase understanding. Some discussion topics may deal with challenging issues we all face on a daily basis, both in our everyday lives and in the workplace. The interaction in the workshops helps the participants to openly communicate, inspire each other, tap into the imagination and find solutions to these challenging issues together. Why is embracing diversity so important in the workplace? Quite simply, the challenges we face will not just go away because we learn to "deal" with them or just accept them. We have to address them, talk about them and embrace the beauty of our differences. This is especially important in the work environment because embracing this sort of truth can lead to increased understanding and, of course, greater productivity. InterPlay workshops are also exceptional because they support each individual's strengths and unique qualities. The training exercises use theatrical techniques to help participants come out of their shells and experience positive communication hands-on. The activities are fun, but they are also meaningful. Rather than showing a video or hiring a speaker, let your employees engage themselves in their training. Let our workshops create awareness, as well as a sense of personal connection with other employees and your company's unique environment.
